Philosophy & Goals

Leola Nursery School strives to promote positive learning experiences for children and to prepare them for success in school. Using both the Pensylavania Early Learning Standards, and the local "Success by 6" initiatives as guidelines, our program is structured to develop physical, cognitive, language, and social skills in all of our children.

By providing an atmosphere that encourages the child to think, we lay a solid base for mental development. Our activities are geared toward supporting parental teaching and developing the total child.

Although the Leola Nursery School is a ministry of the Conestoga Church of the Brethren, the school offers no religious training. Rather, we attempt to instill in our students values common to all traditional religions: reverence for God, love and compassion for others and a respect for individual differences.
